I don't know if I'm the best example, since I can't reach *my* goals either - but instead of committing to taking a walk for a certain time or distance, I've been telling myself I have to get out into the sunshine for at least 15 minutes every day. It's helped a lot - if I start walking for 15 minutes, I'll end up doing 30 or an hour (except when I'm on my break from work...I have a couple 15minute walks from the office door figured out.).
